Path of Exile 3.30: November 13 Launch, Allflame End Date and Everything Confirmed So Far
The next Path of Exile 1 expansion has a date. In an official post on October 12, Grinding Gear Games confirmed that patch 3.30 launches on November 13, 2026 (PST), that the current league, Curse of the Allflame, ends on November 9 at 1:00 PM PST, and that the full reveal happens at ExileCon 2026 in Auckland the week before.
That makes November the busiest month Path of Exile has had in years: a major PoE 1 reveal and launch, plus Path of Exile 2's free-to-play 1.0 release four weeks later. This guide covers everything that's actually confirmed about 3.30, the exact times for your region, what developers have hinted at (and how much weight to give it), and a checklist to get through the last days of Allflame and into launch day ready.
Path of Exile 3.30 at a Glance
- Full reveal: ExileCon 2026 opening keynote, Friday, November 6 at 1:00 PM PST.
- Curse of the Allflame ends: Monday, November 9 at 1:00 PM PST.
- 3.30 launches: Friday, November 13 (PST). The exact time isn't announced yet.
- League name and mechanic: not revealed yet. Both are expected at the ExileCon keynote.
- Gap between leagues: about four days between Allflame ending and 3.30 starting.
Exact Times for Your Region
One thing that trips people up every November: daylight saving time has ended in both the US (November 1) and Europe (October 25). Times are now PST (UTC−8) and CET (UTC+1), not the summer PDT/CEST you may be used to from previous launches.

3.30 launch: Friday, November 13. GGG hasn't given a time yet. For reference, Curse of the Allflame launched at 1:00 PM Pacific. If 3.30 follows the same pattern, that would be 21:00 UTC / 22:00 CET, but treat that as an estimate until GGG confirms it.
What's Actually Confirmed About 3.30
Honestly, very little beyond the dates. GGG's October 12 post confirms the November 13 release, the November 9 end of Allflame, and that the full details will be revealed at ExileCon and streamed on Twitch. GGG first confirmed that 3.30 would arrive in 2026 during the Q&A after the 3.29 reveal livestream in July. The league name, league mechanic, patch notes, balance changes and any new Ascendancy content are all still unannounced.
If you see a site listing 3.30's league name or "confirmed" skill nerfs before November 6, it's guessing.
What the Developers Have Hinted: An Endgame Shakeup
The most concrete hints come from an interview GGG posted on its own forum in August. PoE 1 game designers Andrew and Octavian sat down with community streamer Zizaran to discuss Curse of the Allflame. As reported by GameFragger, Octavian described 3.30 as "planned to be a extreme shakeup of the endgame," said the team plans "to get to as many existing league mechanics as possible and give them all something new," and acknowledged that "the endgame has just gotten stale." The same report says Andrew hinted that the changes won't be limited to maps, with bosses and other non-map content touched as well.
That lines up with feedback players have been giving for a while: Atlas strategies and scarab-based farming have barely changed in years. If the interview holds up, 3.30 could be a bigger shift for endgame farmers than a typical league launch, and returning players should expect to relearn their favourite farming setups rather than copy last league's.
Keep in mind these are plans described months before release, not patch notes. The ExileCon keynote is where we'll find out what actually made it in.
What Happens When Curse of the Allflame Ends
At 1:00 PM PST on November 9, the challenge league closes. As with every Path of Exile challenge league:
- Your characters and items aren't deleted. Softcore league characters move to Standard and Hardcore league characters move to Hardcore, along with their stash tabs.
- Challenge progress stops counting. Any rewards you haven't unlocked by then are gone for good. GGG's post specifically reminds players that there are still several weeks left to finish challenges.
- The league economy is over. Allflame currency and items keep their value only within Standard's (much smaller) economy.
Whether any part of Allflame's league mechanic (the charts, voyages, Bathysphere descents and Allflame Crafting) goes core in 3.30 hasn't been answered. Players asked in GGG's own announcement thread, and there was no reply. Expect that answer at ExileCon too.
If you've been away since launch, Allflame changed a fair bit along the way. The improvements GGG announced in early August included more rewarding Abyss Pits and Abyss Scarab of Crystals changes, extra Wildwood Wisps in the Viridian Wildwood, reduced damage on several enemy mercenary skills, a crafting bench in the Menagerie, and "Cursed Ducats" that socket into Voyages for more quantity and rarity in exchange for extra difficulty.
New or Returning? How a League Launch Works
If 3.30 is your first Path of Exile 1 league, or your first in a while, here's the short version of how it works:
- Everyone starts from zero. A challenge league is a fresh, separate economy. Nobody has gear or currency on day one, which is why league start is the most even playing field you'll get.
- You choose your mode. The league comes in softcore and hardcore versions, with Solo Self-Found options for players who don't want to trade. Most players start in softcore trade.
- Leagues last a few months. Allflame ran from July 24 to November 9. Characters you make in 3.30 will move to Standard (or Hardcore) when 3.30 ends, just like Allflame's are about to.
- Challenges unlock cosmetic rewards. Each league has a list of challenges, and completing enough of them unlocks cosmetic rewards that stay on your account.
- Prices move fastest in week one. As the population farms and crafts, the value of currency and items shifts every day. Early upgrades are cheap in absolute terms but scarce, which is why league-start currency goes a long way.
Your Pre-Launch Checklist
Before November 9 (Allflame's last days):
- Finish the challenges closest to your next reward tier. Anything not done by 1:00 PM PST on November 9 doesn't count.
- Spend or use Allflame currency while it's still worth something in the league economy, rather than letting it sit in Standard.
- If you have gear worth keeping for Standard, sort it now. Once you're playing 3.30 you won't want to deal with it.
November 6–12 (reveal week):
- Watch the keynote on November 6 at 1:00 PM PST (22:00 CET), live on twitch.tv/pathofexile or YouTube. Twitch Drops are planned for the stream.
- Read the patch notes before you choose a starter. League launches almost always bring balance changes that make some starters better or worse, and 3.30's endgame focus could also change how you'll want to farm.
- Shortlist two starters: one you know and trust, and one that looks strong in the new patch notes.
Launch day (November 13):
- Update your client as soon as the patch is available. League launches often have login queues in the first hour.
- Remember the competition: Path of Exile 2's free-to-play 1.0 arrives on December 11, so you have roughly four weeks of 3.30 before the sequel pulls part of the player base away. Players who want to experience both should plan accordingly.
League-Start Currency
Every new league starts with an empty economy, and the first few days are when currency is scarcest and most useful. A few orbs at the right moment can mean an early movement-speed upgrade, a proper 6-link, or a smooth first push into maps. These are the essentials most players reach for:
- Chaos Orbs are the everyday trading currency for gear upgrades in the first days.
- Divine Orbs are the high-value currency for expensive items and endgame crafting.
- Orbs of Fusing link sockets, and Jeweller's Orbs reroll the number of sockets.
- Orbs of Alchemy turn normal items into rares, which is useful for maps and quick gear.
- Gemcutter's Prisms add quality to your main skill gems.
You can browse the full list in our PoE 1 currency catalog. Choose your league in the selector on each item page, and with a free account you earn Arcane Coins cashback on every order.
